Logistics adapted to export

Logistics does not involve simply managing physical flows, it must also answer to previously-established quality, quantity, price and deadline criteria. Socli has outsourced its transport activity to focus on its know-how and its business as a lime producer.

However, it takes great care to select the partners with which it works, and regular audit are in place to ensure that these transport providers comply with the established specifications.

The transport tasks carried out by national and international forwarders in Europe and throughout the world relate to:

  • Loading and unloading of goods,

  • Routing of goods,

  • Monitoring of goods during transport,

  • Management of customs operations, etc.

Goods can be sent by road, plane, sea, river or train. These partners have been chosen to respect the quality of service, the deadlines in terms of delivery and to track shipments from end to end.

Furthermore, forwarding agents perform customs clearance operations, and provide advice, both for export operations and for the monitoring of international regulations.
